鋼彈迷有福了！繼台場18公尺高的鋼彈後，羽田機場將立20公尺高的鋼彈，讓旅客還沒降落就能從空中俯瞰巨大鋼彈向你招手問好。

去年4月份於日本台場新建的Drive City Tokyo Plaza，在廣場前設立18公尺高的「機動戰士鋼彈」模型，不但成為台場新地標，也成為遊客必拍熱門景點。而平均每日約有17萬人使用，每兩分鐘就有一班飛機起降的東京羽田機場，現在就預計將在機場旁的空地打造一座取代台場鋼彈，標高20公尺的鋼彈模型，屆時飛機起降時就可以看到鋼彈「送往迎來」的景象。
